The Daughters I Left Behind

When, I look down,

And see, what once was,

I have no regrets,

This life, this body,

It was just a vessel in time,

For which time, has no meaning,

The preparation, the beginning of a new journey,

The shedding of life’s problems,

The ignorance of humankind,

All of this, I will gladly leave behind,

There is no remorse,

But “One”,

Leaving daughters behind,

To be engulfed,

In this madness, of a world, we call home—

I will pray,

Oh! I will pray, for their early release,

A release from this madness,

And for the serenity of a sanctuary,

Yeah! A peaceful asylum,

A fortress secure within the confinements of the “heavens”,

So, that they will recognize,

What I just found,

After many, many tireless years,

That the insanity is just a moment,

A fragment of an existence,

That we all shared—

So, when I look down,

Upon everything, the earth, the purity in the clouds,

Which hovers over them,

And provides that invisibility of protection,

There are no regrets,

No remorseful moments to speak of,

No forgotten memories,

Say “one”,

The daughters that I left behind…
